In the 2023 video game Starfield, Ada Lovelace makes an appearance as a non-player character in the form of a clone, among other clones of historical figures, during the game's "Operation Starseed" questline.

I'm finding it difficult to see what much of the content of the "In popular culture" section, particularly the "Computing and STEM" and "Other" subsections, has to do with any kind of culture, let alone popular. Can someone (I don't have the energy myself) integrate that content into the article a bit better? I disagree. These pop-culture features could serve as an avenue for those to learn about important figures such as Ava. That's irrelevant. It's great that someone playing a game sees a mention of Ada and is thereby stimulated to read this article, but at that point the article's purpose is to tell that someone about Ada, not about all the trivial avenues which might bring readers here. Is this page really so controversial as to require locking? This is nothing to to with admins (of whom I am not one) gathering more power, but simply using their tools to prevent articles from getting disfigured by vandalism. The page has been semiprotected for over three years, so we can probably try unprotecting it now. I'll ask, without the uncivil garbage, the protecting admin, EdJohnston.
